The statutory right of withdrawal

Where the right of withdrawal exists, you can withdraw from the contract within the statutory period without giving any reason. That period is currently 14 days and begins when you receive the goods.

The right of withdrawal under the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG) covers orders placed through this website. It does not apply to a purchase you make with us in the shop.

When it does not apply

The law exempts certain goods from the right of withdrawal. Two exceptions matter most for what we sell:

• Goods liable to deteriorate rapidly or to pass their shelf life quickly. Fresh cut flowers are among them.
• Goods made to your individual specifications or clearly tailored to your personal needs.

Whether one of these exceptions applies to your order depends on the goods themselves and on the circumstances. Choosing a colour, a size or a date does not by itself make an item a custom-made good, and not everything we sell deteriorates rapidly. We do not classify this across the board. If you are unsure, write to us and we will clarify it for your order.

How to withdraw

Tell us about your withdrawal in a clear statement, for example by email or by post:

To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your statement before the period expires.

The quickest way is the form further down this page: you declare the withdrawal online and receive the acknowledgement by email straight away.

What happens then

If you withdraw effectively, we refund your payment using the same means of payment you used. Please return the goods to our shop or send them back to our address.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If you bring them back to the shop, there is no postage for you to pay.

A withdrawal leaves the statutory warranty untouched.

This form receives your declaration. Whether a statutory right of withdrawal applies in your case is something we look at afterwards, and we will come back to you. We do not need a reason.
